Bowling for Rhinos is a national AAZK sponsored fundraiser that supports rhino ecosystems: everything from orchids to sea turtles to elephants. The money is directly contributed to National Parks in Kenya and Indonesia to help preserve these precious habitats. Bowling for Rhinos has donated over $3 million since its inception in 1990 and according to Richard Moller, Director of Operations of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, "the many rhino we look after simply cannot do without your help." 
Bowling for Rhinos was a great time again this year, thanks to our record number of participants and Mustang Alley's for being a generous host! The Greater Baltimore AAZK chapter raised a record high of $4,965! This year, we added a unique new element of auctioning animal themed artwork, created by local artists, to boost the donation totals. |
