Bowling for Rhinos is a national AAZK sponsored fundraiser that supports rhino ecosystems: everything from orchids to sea turtles to elephants. The money is directly contributed to National Parks in Kenya and Indonesia to help preserve these precious habitats. Bowling for Rhinos has donated over $3 million since its inception in 1990 and according to Richard Moller, Director of Operations of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, "the many rhino we look after simply cannot do without your help."

We hosted our annual bowling event on Saturday, June 25th at Stoneleigh Lanes. Becky Lynagh put on a great event with help from other chapter memebers, and collectively, we collected over $3200 this year. Add that to the total funds raised by GBAAZK in past events, and our chapter has contributed over $45,000 to this amazing cause. Please check back for more fun next year!
