We are pleased to announce that our 2010 Animal Art Auction, held at The Maryland Zoo's Mansion House Porch, was a huge success!! GBAAZK was able to raise $2,000.
This year, we had 53 pieces of art work for auction including animal "footprints" and "body paintings" as well as photographs, sculptures and other home decor decorated by some of the zoo's very own animals and staff! There were games, food and prizes enjoyed by all and let's not forget the special guest appearances by some of the zoo's animal ambassadors!
